Registration will start on Sunday July 7th in the afternoon.

The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday July 8th at 8:30;

the conference will end on Saturday July 13th before noon.

Session hours are 8:30 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 16:30

Sessions of the conference will be held in the ICISE conference Center.

The following equipment will be available:

• video projector for computer presentations
• internet access will be available at the conference site.
  A wireless hub is installed and covers the whole conference building

Excursion on Wednesday July 10th afternoon.

Conference dinner on Thursday July 11th in the evening.

All participants and their families are invited to regularly scheduled events.

The transfer should indicate clearly your name to identify the payee. Please inform the conference secretariat by fax or email that the transfer has been done. You should obtain proof of payment and hand it to the conference secretariat at the conference site. It will take at least four (4) weeks for our account to be credited, so please have the transfer made before June 7th, 2024.

We can offer two possibilities of accommodation in a four star hotel : the Seagull Hotel and the ANYA Hotel.
Accomodation is guaranteed if your registration is made before May 20th.

All sessions will be held in the ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotels. (you can visualise it on this map). Daily bus transfer (morning and end afternoon) will be provided by the conference organization.

Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday July 7th, and will leave on Saturday July 13th afternoon.

Breakfast will be served in the hotels for all participants. Lunch and dinner will be served at ICISE (with few exceptions at a downtown restaurant). The cost per person (full board for 6 days) are :

• For Seagull Hotel : 489 An Dương Vương, Quy Nhon, 591300, Viêt Nam The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to 360 USD for a double or sharing room and 525 USD for a single room. Cost per additional day is 130 USD for a double room(2 persons) and 90 USD for a single room.
• For ANYA Hotel : Bloc DV3, Nguyen Trung Tin Street, Quy Nhon, Vietnam The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to 375 USD for a double or sharing room and 555 USD for a single room. Cost per additional day is 140 USD for a double room (2 persons) and 95 USD for a single room.

  Payment for board and lodging should be done online with Vietnamese currency VND on this site.

  Important Note:
  Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, July 7th to Saturday noon July 13th. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.

  Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.
  

TRAVEL

Important: Please make sure that your passport validity is at least six month after your return date (this may be contradictory with other rules, but this was imposed recently - last january - to a participant of another conference).

There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhat airport : SGN).
As there are more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

In order to welcome you and organize your transfer from Quy Nhon airport to the conference hotel, please inform the conference secretariat of your flight number as well as the date and the arrival time in Quy nhon.
Conference buses will be available at Quy Nhon airport on Sunday July 7 (morning and afternoon flights) and Monday July 8 (morning flights).

We list here some rules as they apply in summer 2023: we will strive to update this information regularly, but you should make sure they indeed apply to July 2024 before traveling.

COVID

The reopening of and to international tourism is now official (from mid-march 2022).

From May 6 2022: Vietnam suspended health declarations for COVID-19 throughout the country from April 30 including for domestic travel. (see official informations on this site)

Passengers are not required to take Covid test before entering Vietnam as of May 15th, 2022.

On May 15 2022: Vietnam dropped all COVID-19 testing requirements for international arrivals from May 15 (see official informations on Vietnam Airlines site)

Quarantine regulations: Within 10 days from the date of entry, passengers self-monitor their health. if you don’t have any symptoms, you are free to join the conference and go around.

Immigration

All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.

Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to holders of a passport from:

• Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
• Philippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
• Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Belarus, Northern Ireland for visits of 45 days at the maximum.
  This is valid until March 14, 2025.

To obtain a visa

• you may apply for a conference visa through the Internet: e-Visa
• while filling up the form, on the item "purpose of entry" you should select "summit, conference"
• the e-visa is generally obtained in 4 working days and valid for 90 days. Beyond this delay, you should check your application status by following the instructions indicated on the e-visa application webpage.
• your passport should be valid more that 60 days after date of entry in Vietnam
• the e-visa cannot be renewed nor extended
• it costs 25 USD not refundable even when the visa is refused

• Note : if you want to apply for a conference visa at the Vietnamese Consulate of your residence country instead of applying for a conference evisa online, you should first get a "visa approval letter", which has to be requested for you by the conference organiser. So you should ask for it as soon as possible, and this at the latest on June 3, to the conference secretariat (it may take 2-3 weeks and will cost 120 USD to be paid at registration, the first day of the conference). Then you will be able to get the actual visa at your nearest vietnamese consulate (within a few days - 3 to 6).
