Registration will start on Sunday August 5^th, 2018 in the afternoon.

The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday August 6^th at 8:30;

the conference will end on Saturday August 11^th at 11h.

Session hours are 8:30 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 17:00

Sessions of the conference will be held in the ICISE conference Center.

The following equipment will be available:

• video projector for computer presentations
• internet access will be available at the conference site with a wireless hub.

Accomodation will be in the Seagull Hotel, a four star hotel in Quy Nhon: it is guaranteed if your reservation is made before May 15^th, 2018. After this date, if the Seagull hotel is full, you will be accomodated in an equivalent neighbouring hotel.

All sessions will be held in the ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotel (you can visualise it on this map). Daily bus transfer (morning and end afternoon) will be provided by the conference organization.

Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday August 5^th, and will leave on Saturday August 11^th in the afternoon.

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel for all participants, while lunch will be served on the ICISE conference site. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $315 US for a double room and $450 US for a single room. Cost per additional day is $55 US for double room and $80 US for a single room ..

If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.

Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).

Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, August 5^th to Saturday, morning August 11^th. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.

Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.

TRAVEL

There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhat airport : SGN).
As there more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

IMMIGRATION

We list here some rules as they apply in summer 2017: we will strive to update these informations regularly, but you should make sure they indeed apply to august 2018 before traveling.

All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.

Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to holders of a passport from:

• Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
• Philippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
• Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Finland for visits of 15 days at the maximum.
  At the end of June 2015, 5 more countries have been added to this list: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom for one year and then prolonged for another year in june 2016 and again for one year on June 12th 2017.

To obtain a visa

• please apply for a TOURIST visa: you may use the official website to get the E-visa. The time of processing is only 3 to 4 working days to get it. You just print out the approved E-visa and present it directly to the officer at the immigration desk.
• If you plan to stay in Vietnam longer than a month, please either go to your nearest vietnamese consulate or through the Internet (you will have to retrieve it on your arrival) at the following websites:

This internet visa procedure is cheap but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on your position in the queue. Do not forget to have with you 2 passport photos and USD in cash as required by the internet visa service.

Please inform the conference secretariat of your arrival date and time at the Quy Nhon airport.

The transfer should indicate clearly your name to identify the payee. Please inform the conference secretariat by fax or email that the transfer has been done. You should obtain proof of payment and hand it to the conference secretariat at the conference site. It will take at least four (4) weeks for our account to be credited, so please have the transfer made before July 1^st, 2018.

Some limited accommodation funds may be available for young scientists from developing countries and from Eastern European countries. The application form for financial support should be filled in (including a short resume) and submitted. A letter of recommendation should be sent to:

Several post-conference Tours will be proposed for participants: their preliminary programs can be consulted on this web site. Please note that Tour 2 and 3 will be organized only if there are at least 5 persons for each tour.

It will also be possible to have a short (1-2 days) tour either before or after the conference. However, this will have to be arranged directly by the participant through a local travel agency. We will provide the link for a local travel agent in the near future.
