Registration will start on Thursday January 5th in the afternoon.

The opening session is scheduled to take place on Friday January 6th at 8:30;

the conference will end on Wednesday January 11th in the morning (in time to catch the 13:25 plane at Quy Nhon UIH).

Session hours are 8:30 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 16:30

Sessions of the conference will be held in the ICISE conference Center.

The following equipment will be available:

• video projector for computer presentations
• overhead projector
• internet access will be available at the conference site.
  A wireless hub is installed and covers the whole conference building

Accommodation in a four star hotel in Quy Nhon is guaranteed if your registration is made before November 20th.

All sessions will be held in the ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotel. (you can visualise it on this map). Daily bus transfer (morning and end afternoon) will be provided by the conference organization.

Participants will be expected to arrive on Thurssday January 5th, and will leave on Wednesday January 11th in the afternoon.

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel for all participants. Lunch will be served at ICISE. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $345 US for a double room and $495 US for a single room. Cost per additional day is $60 US for double room and $85 US for a single room .

If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.

Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).

Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Thursday noon, January 5th to Wednesday morning January 11th. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.

Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.

TRAVEL

There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhat airport : SGN).
As there more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

COVID

The reopening of and to international tourism is now official (from mid-march 2022).

From May 6: Vietnam suspended health declarations for COVID-19 throughout the country from April 30 including for domestic travel. (see official informations on this site)

Passengers are not required to take Covid test before entering Vietnam as of May 15th, 2022.

On May 15: Vietnam dropped all COVID-19 testing requirements for international arrivals from May 15 (see official informations on Vietnam Airlines site)

Quarantine regulations: Within 10 days from the date of entry, passengers self-monitor their health. if you don’t have any symptoms, you are free to join the conference and go around.

Immigration

All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.

Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to holders of a passport from:

• Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
• Philippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
• Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom for visits of 15 days at the maximum.
  This is valid until March 14, 2025.

To obtain a visa

• you may apply for a conference visa through the Internet: e-Visa
• 80 countries are eligible (see official list)
• while filling up the form, on the item "purpose of entry" you should select "summit, conference"
• the e-visa is obtained in 3 working days and valid for 30 days
• your passport should be valid more that 60 days after date of entry in Vietnam
• the e-visa cannot be renewed nor extended
• it costs 25 USD not refundable even when the visa is refused

• otherwise, to obtain a conference visa, you should first get a "visa approval letter": this has to be requested for you by the conference organiser. So you should ask for it as soon as possible, and this at the latest on December 5, to the conference secretariat (it may take 2-3 weeks and will cost 120 USD to be paid at registration, the first day of the conference).
  Then you will be able to get the actual visa at your nearest vietnamese consulate (within a few days - 3 to 6)
