Registration will start on Sunday August 11th in the afternoon.

The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday August 12th at 8:30;

the conference will end on Saturday August 17th at 11h.

Session hours are 8:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 17:30

Sessions of the conference will be held in the new ICISE conference Center and in Seagull Hotel.

The following equipment will be available:

• video projector for computer presentations
• overhead projector
• internet access will be available at the conference site.
  In particular, we anticipate that a wireless hub will be installed.

Accomodation in the four star Seagull Hotel in Quy Nhon is guaranteed if your reservation is made before June 1st. After this date, if the Seagull hotel is full, you will be accomodated in a neighbouring hotel.

All sessions will be held in the new ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotel.

Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday August 11th, and will leave on Saturday August 17th in the afternoon.

All meals will be served in the hotel for all participants. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $270 US for a double room and $390 US for a single room.

If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.

Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).

Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, August 11th to Saturday, morning August 17th. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.

Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.

TRAVEL

There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhut airport : SGN).
As there more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

IMMIGRATION

All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.

Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to:

• Citizens of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
• Citizens of Phillippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
• Citizens of Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Finland for visits of 15 days at the maximum.

To obtain a visa

• please apply for a tourist visa and get it at your nearest vietnamese consulate
• you may apply for a tourist visa through the Internet
• Visa on Arrival (1)
• Visa on Arrival (2)

Please inform the conference secretariat of your internet visa number and your arrival date and time at the entrance airport.

This internet visa procedure is cheaper but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on the queue. Do not forget to have with you 2 passport photos and USD in cash as required by the internet visa service.
