Registration will start on Sunday July 17th in the afternoon.

The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday July 18th at 8:30;

the conference will end on Saturday July 23rd at 11h.

Session hours are 8:30 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 17:00

Sessions of the conference will be held in the ICISE conference Center.

The following equipment will be available:

• video projector for computer presentations
• overhead projector
• internet access will be available at the conference site.
  A wireless hub has been installed and works efficiently.

Accommodation in the four star Seagull Hotel in Quy Nhon is guaranteed if your registration is made before May 17th. After this date, if the Seagull hotel is full, you will be accommodated in a neighbouring hotel.

All sessions will be held in the ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotel. (you can visualise it on this map). Daily bus transfer (morning and end afternoon) will be provided by the conference organization.

Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday July 17th, and will leave on Saturday July 23rd in the afternoon.

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel for all participants. Lunch will be served at ICISE. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $345 US for a double room and $495 US for a single room. Cost per additional day is $60 US for double room and $85 US for a single room .

If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.

Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).

Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, July 17th to Saturday morning July 23rd. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.

Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.

TRAVEL

There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhat airport : SGN).
As there are more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

COVID

The reopening of and to international tourism is now official (from mid-march 2022).

From May 6: Vietnam suspended health declarations for COVID-19 throughout the country from April 30 including for domestic travel. (see official informations on this site)

Passengers are not required to take Covid test before entering Vietnam as of May 15th, 2022.

On May 15: Vietnam dropped all COVID-19 testing requirements for international arrivals from May 15 (see official informations on Vietnam Airlines site)

Quarantine regulations: Within 10 days from the date of entry, passengers self-monitor their health. if you don’t have any symptoms, you are free to join the conference and go around.

Immigration

All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.

Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to holders of a passport from:

• Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
• Philippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
• Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom for visits of 15 days at the maximum.
  This is valid until March 14, 2025.

To obtain a visa

• please apply for a tourist visa and get it at your nearest vietnamese consulate
• you may apply for a tourist visa through the Internet
• e-Visa
  (obtained in 3 working days; valid for 30 days; passport should be valid more that 60 days after date of entry inVietnam; cannot be renewed nor extended; cost: 25 USD not refundable even when the visa is refused -- see more details and Q&A)
This internet visa procedure is cheaper but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on the queue. Do not forget to have with you 2 passport photos and USD in cash as required by the internet visa service.

Please inform the conference secretariat of your internet visa number and your arrival date and time at the entrance airport.

The transfer should indicate clearly your name to identify the payee. Please inform the conference secretariat by fax or email that the transfer has been done.
