Registration will start on Sunday August 11th in the afternoon.

The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday August 12th at 8:30;

the conference will end on Saturday August 17th at 11h.

Session hours are 8:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 17:30

Sessions of the conference will be held in the ICISE conference Center.

The following equipment will be available:

• video projector for computer presentations
• overhead projector
• internet access will be available at the conference site.
  A wireless hub has been installed and works efficiently.

Accommodation in the four star Seagull Hotel in Quy Nhon is guaranteed if your registration is made before May 9th. After this date, if the Seagull hotel is full, you will be accommodated in a neighbouring hotel.

All sessions will be held in the ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotel. (you can visualise it on this map). Daily bus transfer (morning and end afternoon) will be provided by the conference organization.

Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday August 11th, and will leave on Saturday August 17th in the afternoon.

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel for all participants. Lunch will be served at ICISE. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $345 US for a double room and $495 US for a single room. Cost per additional day is $60 US for double room and $85 US for a single room .

If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.

Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).

Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, August 11th to Saturday morning August 17th. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.

Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.

TRAVEL

There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhat airport : SGN).
As there more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

IMMIGRATION

We list here some rules as they apply in summer 2018: we will strive to update these informations regularly, but you should make sure they indeed apply to august 2019 before traveling.

All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.

Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to holders of a passport from:

• Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
• Philippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
• Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Finland for visits of 15 days at the maximum.
  At the end of June 2015, 5 more countries have been added to this list: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom for one year ever since

To obtain a visa

• please apply for a tourist visa and get it at your nearest vietnamese consulate
• you may apply for a tourist visa through the Internet
• Visa on Arrival (1)
• Visa on Arrival (2)

Please inform the conference secretariat of your internet visa number and your arrival date and time at the entrance airport.

This internet visa procedure is cheaper but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on the queue. Do not forget to have with you 2 passport photos and USD in cash as required by the internet visa service.

The transfer should indicate clearly your name to identify the payee. Please inform the conference secretariat by fax or email that the transfer has been done. You should obtain proof of payment and hand it to the conference secretariat at the conference site. It will take at least four (4) weeks for our account to be credited, so please have the transfer made before July 11th, 2019.
