Registration will start on Sunday July 27th in the afternoon.
The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday July 28th at 8:30;
the conference will end on Saturday August 2nd at 11h.
Session hours are 8:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 17:30
Sessions of the conference will be held in the new ICISE conference Center and in Seagull Hotel.
The following equipment will be available:
- video projector for computer presentations
- overhead projector
- internet access will be available at the conference site with a wireless hub
Accommodation will be in the four star Seagull Hotel in Quy Nhon: it is guaranteed if your reservation is made before June 15th, 2014. After this date, if the Seagull hotel is full, you will be accomodated in a neighbouring hotel.
All sessions will be held in the new ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotel. Daily bus transfer (morning and end afternoon) will be provided by the conference organization.
Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday July 27th, and will leave on Saturday August 2nd in the afternoon.
All meals will be served in the hotel for all participants. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $270 US for a double room and $390 US for a single room.
If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.
Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).
Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the
meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, July 27th to Saturday,
morning August 2nd. Please note that
the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case
of partial attendance.
If you intend to arrive before Sunday, July 27th and leave after Saturday, August 2nd, please let us know in advance so that we can try to make the appropriate hotel reservation for you: contact rencontres.vietnam@gmail.com
Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish
your room to be made available immediately, you will be
charged for an extra day. You must
inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.
TRAVEL
There are two main international airports in Vietnam :
Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN)
and
Ho Chi Minh
(Tan Son Nhut airport : SGN).
As there are more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy Nhon,
it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries
to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

For those arriving via Hanoi, since the only dayly flight to Quy Nhon is very early in the morning, it may be wise to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City and catch up there the afternoon flight to Quy Nhon.
In order to welcome you and organize your transfert from
Quy Nhon airport to the conference hotel, please
inform the conference secretariat
of your flight number as well as the date and the arrival time
in Quy Nhon.
Conference buses will be available at Quy Nhon airport
on Sunday July 27th (morning and afternoon flights) and
Monday July 28th (morning flights).

IMMIGRATION
All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.
Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to:
- Citizens of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
- Citizens of Phillippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
- Citizens of Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Finland for visits of 15 days at the maximum.

- you may apply for a tourist visa through the Internet
