Registration will start on Sunday April 20^th, 2014 in the afternoon.

The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday April 21^st at 8:30;

the conference will end on Saturday April 26^th at 10h.

Session hours are 8:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 17:30

Sessions of the conference will be held in the new ICISE conference Center.

The following equipment will be available:

• video projector for computer presentations
• overhead projector
• internet access will be available at the conference site with a wireless hub.

Accomodation will be in the four star Seagull Hotel in Quy Nhon: it is guaranteed if your reservation is made before March 9^th, 2014. After this date, if the Seagull hotel is full, you will be accomodated in an equivalent neighbouring hotel.

All sessions will be held in the new ICISE conference center, 10 minutes taxi (or one hour walk) away from the hotel.

Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday April 20^th, and will leave on Saturday April 26^th in the afternoon.

All meals will be served in the hotel for all participants. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $270 US for a double room and $390 US for a single room.

If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.

Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).

Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, April 20^th to Saturday, morning April 26^th. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.

Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.

TRAVEL

There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhut airport : SGN).
As there more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi.

For those arriving via Hanoi, since the only dayly flight to Quy Nhon is very early in the morning, it may be wise to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City and catch up there the afternoon flight to Quy Nhon.

In order to welcome you and organize your transfert from Quy Nhon airport to the conference hotel, please inform the conference secretariat of your flight number as well as the date and the arrival time in Quy Nhon.
Conference buses will be available at Quy Nhon airport on Sunday April 20^th (morning and afternoon flights) and Monday April 21^st (morning flights).

IMMIGRATION

All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below.

Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to:

• Citizens of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
• Citizens of Phillippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
• Citizens of Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Finland for visits of 15 days at the maximum.

To obtain a visa

• please apply for a tourist visa and get it at your nearest vietnamese consulate
• you may apply for a tourist visa through the Internet
• Visa on Arrival (1)
• Visa on Arrival (2)

Please inform the conference secretariat of your internet visa number and your arrival date and time at the entrance airport.

This internet visa procedure is cheaper but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on the queue. Do not forget to have 2 passport photos and USD in cash with you as required by the internet visa service.

Several post-conference Tours will be proposed for participants: their preliminary programs can be consulted on this web site. Please note that Tour 2 and 3 will be organized only if there are at least 5 persons for each tour.

It will also be possible to have a short (1-2 days) tour either before or after the conference. However, this will have to be arranged directly by the participant through a local travel agency. We will provide the link for a local travel agent in the near future.
